Quantcast

My name is Susan Gaffney-Evans, and I live with my husband, Bill Evans, in Paducah, KY.  We moved to Paducah in 1997 from Tulsa, OK for Bill's career in television news management.

We have four dogs, four cats and no children. The dogs are our babies and get a lot of our attention.  Putter is a Boston-Terrier mix and she was born in 2003.  Isaballa, known as "Bella," is a Boston Terrier and she was born in 2004.  Lily is a Puggle, which is a Pug-Beagle mix, and she was born in 2005.  And Kalli, another pug mix, is our newest addition who was born in 2006.  She's a rescue from Oklahoma, and Bill drove to pick her up from Arkansas where he visiting friends. The dogs have their own blogs on Dogster too!

I am a graduate of Murray State University and have a Bachelor's degree in public relations with a minor in legal studies.  I am a freelance PR and marketing professional, and am available to help companies with their marketing and promotional needs. I also work on a contract basis with the Pennyroyal Hospice, a non-profit hospice located in Hopkinsville, KY.  Hopkinsville is 75 miles east of Paducah, and I make the drive two to three days each week.

I also love putting together tablescapes for dinner parties.  I have amassed quite a collection of dishes and table accessories over the years, and finally began taking photographs of my finished tables and writing about them.  I've been published several times in Posh, a local magazine published by The Paducah Sun newspaper in Paducah, Ky.  I recently entered a tablescape contest sponsored by The Food Network for the show "Semi-Homemade."  The results won't be announced until June 2008.
