Bento Box Tablescape or Table Setting (7)
The Japanese use the bento box as a lunch box and they wrap the box in a "furoshiki." A furoshiki typically is a square piece of fabric wrapped around the bento box and tied with a knot. I wrapped four bento boxes in pieces of black sheer fabric and tied them with a bow-knot on top. I then pushed chopsticks into the knot and added accessories to create a “Furoshiki-Wrapped Bento Box Tablescape” for a Japanese-style dinner on our sunporch.
